      Official Cd Review:
      – brilliant structuring and content enriched answer…keep it up…
      – except the point of how ocean currents influence air circulation and atmospheric changes like cold current induces stability and subsiding airmass, all aspects are addressed well…
      – Very good answer!
      Marks awarded: 6/10

Ocean currents means movement of huge quantity of ocean water from one place to another place.
Ocean currents occurs mainly because of differences in temperature of ocean water.
The ocean water near the equatorial region heats more due to vertical falling of sun rays compared to sea water near poles where sun rays reaches very low due to this condition there is a pressure gradient in sea water so water from both high temperature region and low temperature region move towards each other to attain neutral state.
Influence of ocean currents on the fishing:
The place where worm ocean currents and cold ocean currents meet is best suitable place for the development of plankton which is chief source of food for fishes and other marine organisms.
The influence of ocean currents on climate:
The areas near to coast where there mixing of warm ocean currents and cold ocean currents take place turn into desert because during mixing of ocean currents they observe huge moisture from surrounding.
The region’s near to these ocean currents are region’s of rich fishing grounds, most of fish trading is concentrated in this region’s only.
Influence of ocean currents on navigation:
1.the ships traveling in the ocean water will be dragged away in the direction on of movement in ocean currents.
2.ocean currents act as lubricant for easy movement of boats.
