Hello Team,
I have a doubt on answer 2.
I know Fundamental Duties are not enforceable by themselves unlike Fundamental Rights, but FDs are enforceable by law.
Lakshmikant Chapter 9 says:
“Moreover, there is no legal sanction against their violation. However, the Parliament is free to enforce them by suitable legislation. ”
Another section in same chapter by the name “Verma Committee Observations” also gives examples laws made to enforce FDs
Can you please help me in resolving this doubt?
Thanks.
1. These FDs can be enforced by a law made for that specific purpose.
2. Without any legal sanction in case of their violation or non-compliance, they’re not enforceable.
3. All fundamental duties are not enforceable by a law, we have given that option.
