First, it looks like an essay, so try to put subheadings, use points, improve the presentation.
Next, in intro try to link it with current affairs, some context about questions being raised on current system of appointment. (Recent meeting of ECs with principal secretary can be mentioned).
Mention of constitutional article is good, however currently the appointment is done by executive, the collegium is not formed like appointments to other constitutional bodies, you can correct that part.
Also mention of ARC is good, try to mention Tarkunde committee, Dinesh Goswami committee etc for value addition.
